My Dad told me that at one time while in Africa he was ordered to drive a truck to a location
where an officer was placed in the cab of this truck and had a gun drawn all the time he was
driving.  He told me that the passangers that were transported that day was Roosevelt but he
had no idea who was in the back of his truck because he was ordered not to look back and had
no way to see to the rear of his truck. I know that after he was discharged from the hospital he
was assigned back into an outfit. I hope further research will reveal what happened.
